The subject explains it all. It was super hot yesterday (sunday). It's past midnight so I know this blog will post for today (monday). Today will be much hotter than yesterday, i'm debating whether to go back to carson til dave gets off work or stay in norwalk. For some reason summer at my place is coool and relaxing. It's not sooo blazing hott!! My room especially feels great cause you can feel some breeze. Nice for naptimes in the afternoon ( after swimming in the pool ) that is. We were suppose to swim today but we didn't have any swimming diapers (yes they have those) for kc and sunblock. So maybe when summer really happens. We did buy her a bathing suit tho :) it's cutesy. It's pink and has hearts all over it. I dipped her feet inside the pool on saturday and she loved it ! Too bad i don't want her to get dark before her baptism. After will do :) Hah. Wondering why i'm still blogging so late? I can't sleep :( My baby balooga's are tho! KC is sleeping on our bed .. cos it's too hot to be on her crib. I'm scared to hop into bed cos i might wake her up. Damit, we're in need of a new bed! Just waiting for the baptism to be over since we're on a budget. We're thinking of moving back to my house for the summer due to the heat. We'll see how that goes .. Dave said it's because of how the house was built and how ours is built more recently. Also, something about the roofing. We also have AC at my house ( It's purposely for summer only due to high bill ) duh. I guess there's a little exception. this will be kc's first summer and my parents are really worried when KC starts sweating. My mom says it can cause amonia. Therefore, my parents will do anything for their grand-daughter :) trust. Anyway i wont blog much about our weekend cos this weekend, well we did a lot of things. Like, spend money! Well i think we deserved it. Especially Dave. He works hard everyday! he got skinnier actually :( poor thing. Gah' i'm wide awake with nothing to do, but go on the internet. Hmmm, I shall go browse and window shop ! bahaha. I did say " window shop " :) Gnights !

I went to target yesterday with dave & his brothers. I realized that whenever i go to target i always end up coming out with something. uhh, not good. I just wanted to go there just because. Turned out dave & i kinda went a little crazy with the baby foods. We put kaelynn in 2nd foods already cos she handles the 1st fooods pretty dam well & plus 2nd foods has more variety. Chris bought chapsticks and it came in 3 ! I was in need of a chapstick so i asked for the other one and dave got one too. Oh, i finally bought the baby powder i've always wanted to use on kaelynn. It's called " angel's breath " and i used to always use this! It smells soooo goood. They had it at island pacific :) So here's what we bought ..

It's been a while since dave and i had a weekend booked. It was holy week and easter was yesterday. I didn't go to church :( due to our family brunch. I know he understands and we go to church every sunday since the beginning of this year. (just not yesterday) Anyway, I'm kinda tired from this weekend so i can't blog much in details.

Yesterday was Jelly's birthday! HAPPPPY BiRTHDAY MAMAS! :) we love you. Anyhoodles KC got $55 off of egg hunting! i know riigh. She had tons of fun tho. This girl was pretty hyped up the whole day yesterday. We went to jelly's bbq thing @ buena park. Spent time with her on her birthday. On our way home, KC knocked out the moment i gave her the pacifier. Chyea shows how much fun she had. ( she's still sleeping right now ) poor baby. Yesterday, overall was a great day cos it was family! Egg hunting at my grandparents house like always.

On saturday, Dave got out early. So we got the chance to go to Americana in glendale for the first time. It was pretty :) I'm having an awful bad time looking for a dress to wear for kc's baptism. Ugh! I ended up walking away with a purple zebra print jacket for $5.99. Original price was $25. I had to get it. Dave finally found a dress shirt at jcpenney for $24.99 and that's including the tie! Thank god, cos ties are expensive and this boy has a lot of dress shirts! He just wanted to wear purple. Hmm, what else, we took a picture with the easter bunny. Of course, for kaelynn. Thought she'd be scared, but she wasn't :)

sweet tooth

So, a few days ago (monday) my little family and i went to target. I bought a few things, but we were just there to buy a storage bin for kc's shoes. cos i have no idea where to put them all. We ended up not buying it, cos they didn't have the one i saw at the other target in carson. & thank god i thought of ikea. So i'll be going there this weekend. Anyway, dave and i decided to make chocolate covered oreos for the first time (: It was boooooommb!! shit, i don't know how else to explain it. & may i say it was our fave, white chocolate. I wanted to take a picture of it, but we were busy eating it (: I told him to take some to work the next day and when he came back he told me his co-workers ate most of it. So, when he came home for lunch, i told him to take more (for him) and of course, he shared it with them again and he only got to eat one. bahaha, it's okay babe! We bought two bags of white chocolate and we still have one left. I'm starting to have a sweet tooth. Oh yeah, and it's our 3y6months anniversary today! I LOVE YOU!

I'm too lazy to write. Tired, perhaps? it is, 11ish. Less than an hour I can sign on myspace again. bahaha. Now, holy week starts. So my blog will just be short.. starting off with ..

[friday] Dave, KC, and i went to the mall with my auntie to get something done for my cousin. He's leaving for guam, cos he'll be stationed there for 3yrs! wompwompwomp. We got him a shirt with a collage of captured moments with the family. It came out nice.

[saturday] Dave had work til 4:3o, but we finally went on a date. My dad had tickets from his job. We watched Fast and the furious! It was a great movie :] we enjoyed it, except for the little technical difficulty. The lights turned on and the screen was blank. HA! everyone was complaining and bitchin. cos it was getting to the good part and it was already in the middle of the movie. Maybe 10min later movie was back on and of course we had a free movie :] with free tickets to come back. Chyea! It was good to spend alone time with boyf. but we missed kaelynn and couldn't wait to get home.

[sunday] Went to church at 11:oo mass with everyone. Today is palm sunday. The mass was pretty long, but kaelynn was actually a good girl. Went home, ate a grip cos we didn't eat breakfast. Went to norwalk cos kc was running out of formula, quick trip to Sam's. I've been having a really bad i don't know what, but my head has been hurting. I've never felt it in my life and that scares me! =x Went home, my mom showed me the list for the invitations and dayuuuum, it's a lot. We just had a total of 5O invitations, so my lil fam went to michael's and we bought another. Invitations came out nice btw, thanks to my dad for printing them out and for my time making it :] Went to the Long Beach house cos my cousin was having a going away party. Ate more, and sang our hearts out on the karaoke! my boyf sang me my favorite song ( wonderful tonight by eric clapton ) melted my heart away. Cheeesay! Then omg, everyone started joining us with the karaoke while kuya clausky was singing All out of love. It was hilarious!! esp. my mom. Surprisingly kc wasn't throwing a fit at that house! phew. My uncle junior is here from hawaii. & this is what he said " Hey you guys make more babies! give her a brother or a sister " and i was like " HA! why? " and he said " cos look at her, she's pretty! you guys make cute babies " awww gosh we're flattered. bahahah. Maybe in 3yrs (; anyway, my cousin and dave had a basketball game today, their team won. All cos of my cousin. He really did end it with a big BANG! yay for him. and everyone else, well shit, they were cheeesan. Now we're home, and here i am going to end this blog. swtnights.

Happy Birthday Kuya Jason !

His having a little dinner at his house later. We'll be at whittier after dave gets off work. Also, going to be in carson from tonight-sunday. We used to go there only on saturday & sunday, but since dave's schedule changed we're there from thursday night-sunday afternoon now. I packed really careful this time. Took my time making sure I don't forget anything ): I'm not done, but i'll get back to it later. Dave should be coming home for lunch now. I'm getting really hungry and i always wait for him so he doesn't eat alone. His mom cooked spaghetti. Yum. OOOOH! and i felt the urge to clean my make-up bag finally, and guess what? I found my tweezer! I'm happy. i don't need to buy a new one! (: I don't blog during the weekend cos that's when i'm busy and out. K' til next post!

surprisingly, we haven't been spending! I'm proud of us (: It's tough, but heeey all worth it. After it's done, we'll have a little bit of a breather. Then september rolls around and KC's big 1st birthday. It's goood to know we're using our money wisely, after all we are in a recession. Feeels great knowing we're able to give our daughter a baptism and a birthday party (:

So let's begin shall we ..

[Friday] I ended up not getting picked up by my mom. didn't want her to drive through traffic and i waited for dave to take his lunch break. After i took him to work then kc and i headed to carson. Just chilled there with my mom and brother til' i had to drive back and pick dave up from work around 6. When we got back to my house me and my parents decided to go grocery shopping. ( due to the empty fridge at home ) buahaha. I took them to my aunties house after cause they ate dinner there and since it's friday, NO MEAT! [: ate fish for dinner with bf. Yum. And of course later on had to pick up my parents from my aunties house. Stayed there for a couple. Like always KC started crying. I don't know what's up with that place but everytime we bring her there she starts crying hysterically. Anyhoodles, we went home and had some family time before we knocked out. My dad originally had it all planned out today for KC cos' he said it was her six months, but he just realized it was friday and obviously no meat whatsoever. So next time!

[Saturday] Oh, So i spoke too soon on my previous blog. I ended up forgetting a few things. sigh. The invitations that i need to print on, her bib, her other blanket, her jacket that goes with her outfit and her leggings. ugh. Luckily, dave had work and had lunch at his house so i told him to call me before he left the house and to bring it with him when he comes home. Phew. Smart one kollette. Well anyways, when kc woke up we went outside and watched my neighbors son play basketball. he's such a cute little boy. He plays basketball by himself with his kobe jersey. ALL THE TIME :] and kc was just jumpy and hyper while i was carrying her. She gets excited when we bring her out. Took a shower and got ready. Dave got off at 4:3O then around' 5ish we headed out for the day. Went to toys r us to buy kc floaties for the pool and some diapers for swimming, but dang, they're pricey. hahah. not that i'm cheap but we're kinda on a budget ! Due to kaelynn's baptism coming up on May. So whatevs, we ended up just walking around. After, we ate at RYO japanese restaurant and had some sushi. Damit, i didn't enjoy mine. I didn't know my shit came with wasabi inside the dam sushi. Fuck, so my nose was hella burning! not cool. I'm talking about straight up fressh wasabi. Okay so anyway! had a certificate to peets coffee. That was our first time there, sooo i was kinda giving the lady a hard time. I was tryna order what i usually order at starbucks. she was like " I hope you'll like your drink. just let me know if there's any problem " how nice of her. but she did a great job [: mMm. loved it. So it's alll goodie. walked around tilly's. I want my VZ shades. ( ahhh, on a budget ) We were gonna go back to the mall cause we wanted fries from chick-fil-a but kc started throwing a fit in the car. Soooo, we had her formula, BUUUT we didn't have her bottle. wtfrench! riigh, soooo, went home and that's how our night ended.

[Sunday] Today, well we went to church with my parents at the 12:45 mass. We were there pretttttty early x] Boo. there was no choir today. Dang it does make a difference without them. KC woke up, and she was being fussy again. We gave her milk, then she wanted her pacifier. I was looking all over for that mess cos i coulda sworn i took it before we left the house. Hmm. so i couldn't find it. after church we went back home to get her pacifier, turned out i had it inside my HUGEEE purse the whole time. I know righ, forgetful me! i jinxed myself. damit. We then headed to grand world buffet. ate lunch there with my parents, and we also talked to the manager for kc's baptism. So it's set, grand world it is. She was being a brat in there, but it's understandable cos she was really sleepy, she just couldn't find the spot. So we all took turns eating. buahah. argh! Anyways, at 5:OO we headed back to norwalk. We left KC at home cos dave had a game at anaheim and kc was already sleeping. Didn't wanna disturb her. I recorded the game cos everybody played like shit last week and i think they should see how they play before they start judging others. ( no name ) They won today. Wow. Came home, KC is still not in her good mood. I have no clue what is wrong with her this weekend. Man oh man, i hope she wont be like that this week and hopefully ( fingers crossed ) no forgetting. I need to start sending out invitations!

6 months old

Oh how time flies. It's been half a year since i gave birth to this lil' munchkin (: and i'm so fortunate to be there and watch her grow everyday! for the past 2 nights tho she's been a brat. she keeps crying or whining if she's not carried. on the good note she sleeps by herself. She loves having her blanket next to her ( i find it cute ). But anyways, my mom is picking us up from norwalk and we'll be staying in carson for the weekend, cause we always do. Dave's at work and he has my car, so he'll just go home to my house after work. The only thing i don't like is packing every weekend because i hate forgetting things (which i haven't) just hate the thought of it. Especially her things. Sooo, i'm cutting this short and get to packing while she naps.

i've had this blogspot for a while now and i had to reset my password cause i haven't signed in for so long, i forgot it. So I've noticed the last time i've blogged on here was when i was still pregnant with kaelynn. Oh gosh, that's been forever. ha! she's grown sooo much (: So anyway i'll update this more often so i can look back at these blogs one day and be surprised at how fast time flies.

So last night i had a really good sleep. Although, i did have a not so good dream, but i'm not gonna go on to details with that. Woke up around 8:30 and probably at 9:oo had a phone call from Kim! (: ahh finally. I texted her before she left, but she said she never received any of it. I'm glad Annalyse ( her daughter ) and Kim got there safely. So where's there? Kansas City, Missouri. Aww i know right so far, but heeeey she called me to let me know she bought her ticket for May 2nd already ( Kc's baptism ) so i'm excited. She has a babygirl as well. She's a year older than kc (: Playmates! too bad she moved. It's okay tho, cos i did tell her that we'll visit her there one day. It'd be a nice mini vaca. Kim's been my friend since middle school, but she kept moving so i lost contact with her for quite a while, til I got her number through our old friend and found out she only lived in norwalk ( where dave lives ) yay, been in contact ever since, but moved again due to Stevens job ( her bf ). Talked on the phone for about an hour just catching up, it was nice indeed! Can't wait to see them both!

After all the talking and laughing, ate breakfast and cleaned. Gosh, i hate it when it's messy. Some might find it weird, but i can't sleep or lay down knowing that our room is dirty. It's just not me. I like to be in a peaceful sanctuary. And for that being, that would be our room (: I don't know i guess cause i was raised by such a clean freak parents ! hahah. Thank goodness tho. and plus dave works everyday except his two days off soo i figured he'd be tired and he doesn't really clean the way i want it cleaned. Everything organized and wiped. He's such a lazy bum. hahah jk, but it's okay cos that's what makes us balanced. We're different, in some ways (: Well so anyways, i continued my spring cleaning. I'm not quite done, but i'll get there. Did i mention, we took kc to the beach for the first time on tuesday and she loved it. she liked the sand in between her toes (: Oh and on top of that she finally got her ears pierced on sunday! She cried, but hey she was a trooper! She looks more of a girl now. FINALLY! Anyways, right now i'm just taking this time to blog cos kc is napping, but she might wake up soon tho, yikes. Soo, i'll put up a few pictures (: Enjoy.
